Children’s Day 2022

India recognizes Children’s Day on November 14 to raise public awareness of the rights, welfare, and education of children. Additionally, Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first prime minister, is honoured on this day. Children adored him and called him “Chacha Nehru,” and he fought for them to receive a thorough education. Nehru believed that children were a country’s true power and the cornerstone of society. Children’s Day is often observed across the country with educational and inspirational events organized across India by and for kids.

Children Day Speech

A short speech for children’s day in English is helpful for kids to deliver a speech in front of an audience. Students celebrate this day with great zeal and enthusiasm.

I’d like to welcome you all to the Children’s Day celebration. In honour of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, our nation’s first prime minister, who is celebrating his 132nd birthday, this day is dedicated to children. After India was given its independence in 1947, Jawaharlal Nehru became our country’s first prime minister. During his 16-year rule, he consistently fought for children’s rights to safety, health, and education. In his formative years, he received private instruction from a tutor, and as a result, he came to appreciate the value of education and the positive effects it may provide.

He made sure to educate people with the same philosophy and encouraged parents and teachers to give their children wings to fly, dream the future they want to create, and allow room for mistakes and improvements as these qualities empower them to innovate and build a better nation. Among the basic rights of children, education and health were of the utmost importance. So let’s build a better tomorrow for everyone and let’s be the kids that our country is proud of. I hope you have a wonderful Children’s Day and all the best.

Thank you!

Short Speech On Children's Day

10 lines speech on children’s day is helpful for kids to memorize.

Since 1964, India has marked Children’s Day on the 14th of November each year.

We commemorate Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, our nation’s first prime minister, on this day.

Children were Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s passion, and he firmly believed that they had the future of the country in their hands.

He left a magnificent legacy, and kids adored him and referred to him as “Chacha Nehru” or “Chachaji.”

He has always advocated for the equality of all children in their rights to education, health, and safety.

Schools all throughout the nation celebrate by hosting a variety of activities to inspire kids to share innovative ideas, as well as various games and stage performances.

Speeches, debates, seminars, singing, and dancing are all examples of stage presentations.

Their place in society is discussed, as well as the significance of this day for a brighter tomorrow.

Teachers are enthusiastically honoured and given sweets as part of the celebration.

The goal of Children’s Day is to reaffirm Chacha Nehru’s belief that children should be given the freedom to soar rather than having their inventiveness curtailed.
